Aja Meeks

Aja Meeks is currently the Director of Events and Special Projects at the office of the NYC Comptroller. Prior to this appointment, Ms. Meeks worked for NYC Mission Society.
Aja held multiple positions at the 207-year-old antipoverty organization. Starting off as the executive assistant to the President of the organization, then moving on to the development associate, and later, the Development & Community Outreach Manager.
Ms. Meeks holds a B.A. from The State University of New York at Stony Brook. She is also on the young professionals board of Eagle Academy Foundation. Aja was born and raised in Southern Queens, where she currently resides with her daughter and fiancée.
