Born in Hollis, Queens and raised in Nassau County, Long Island, Amber-Rae Lawson brings passion, purpose, and heart to her role as Mentee Coordinator at Felicia’s Promise. As the eldest of three, she naturally embraces leadership, responsibility, and the importance of setting a strong example for others to follow.
A dedicated finance professional by day, Amber-Rae is equally devoted to mentoring young women of color—encouraging them to embrace their identity, walk confidently in their purpose, and envision radiant futures. Her deep commitment to faith anchors her confidence and shapes the way she leads, serves, and communicates with compassion and authenticity.
Outside of her professional life, Amber-Rae is an enthusiastic traveler, a faithful servant at her Brooklyn church, and a firm believer that there’s always room for dessert. A passionate reader and advocate for youth literacy, she finds joy in empowering the next generation through education and self-discovery.
Amber-Rae’s mission is simple yet powerful: to help young women become clear about who they are—and excited about who they’re becoming.
