Lesley A. Mosé
Crochet & Craft Facilitator

A native of the Caribbean island of Trinidad and Tobago, Lesley was raised in Brooklyn, New York and is a retired United States Army service member, having served for a period of 34 years.

Her background includes a wide range of experience in the Legal field as a Workers’ Compensation and Personal Injury paralegal and Law Enforcement Officer, in the Human Resources field as it relates to contracting and administrative operations, and in the Logistics field as it relates to supply.

After retiring from the military, Lesley began to crochet and craft as a means to counteract the negative effects of PTSD from service in Iraq and eventually began to create crochet dolls and crafts that specifically represent both children and adults within the diaspora.

She believes that positive representation is essential for our youth in order to help them fulfill their God-given purpose and endeavors each day to help accomplish positive change and representation for underserved and underrepresented communities.

Felicia’s Promise works to provide technical and non-technical resources and training to prepare young women on STEAM career paths with communication, entrepreneurship, leadership, and other necessary skills that the organization deems necessary to uphold its mission.
