Santasia Nelson, LMSW is currently a Licensed Master Social Worker and works in a high school as a School Social Worker with the NYC Department of Education. Prior to this Ms. Nelson has worked with non-profits that are affiliated with DHS (Department of Homeless Services) and DFTA (Department for the Aging).
Santasia has a passion for advocating for youth and supporting their overall mental health and well being. She has past experience working with NYC Well, a mental health support hotline that is specifically for NYC residents.
Santasia received her Bachelors degree in Sociology and Psychology from CUNY York College and CUNY Brooklyn College. She later obtained her Masters in Social Work from Long Island University – Brooklyn. Santasia was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY where she currently resides.
